Corrections Policy

Found an error in a calculation, formula, or article? Here is how to report it and what happens next.

Our Commitment

We test every calculator against known reference values before publishing (see our Calculator Methodology), but mistakes can still happen — a formula edge case, an outdated tax bracket, or a factual error in an article. If you find one, we want to know.

How to Report an Error

Email apluscalc.official@gmail.com or use our Contact page with:

  • The exact page/calculator name (or URL)
  • The inputs you used, if reporting a calculator error
  • What result you expected vs. what you got, or the specific claim you believe is inaccurate
  • A source, if you have one, supporting the correction

What Happens Next

  • We acknowledge reports within 24–48 hours.
  • We re-verify the calculation or claim against the original formula/source.
  • If an error is confirmed, we fix it and update the page's "Last updated" date.
  • For significant corrections (e.g. a formula error affecting results), we note the change was made — we don't silently alter figures that materially change a prior result.

Scope

This policy covers factual and calculation errors. It does not cover general feedback or feature requests — for those, please use our standard Contact form instead.
