📖 About the Click Counter
The APluscalc Mouse Click Counter lets you measure your clicking speed in clicks per second (CPS). Use it to benchmark your raw clicking speed, practice for gaming, or compare different clicking techniques like jitter clicking and butterfly clicking.
Choose a timed mode (5s, 10s, 15s, 30s, or 60s) for a standardised test, or use Free mode to click indefinitely. The pause button lets you freeze the count without resetting. Your best CPS in the session is always tracked.

❓ FAQ's
What is a good CPS (clicks per second) score?
An average person clicks 4–8 CPS. Gamers typically achieve 8–12 CPS using regular clicking. Advanced techniques like butterfly clicking or jitter clicking can reach 12–16 CPS. The world record for clicks per second is approximately 16 CPS over a 10-second test.
What is the Kohi Click Test?
The Kohi Click Test is a popular CPS benchmark from the Kohi Minecraft server. Players tested their clicking speed on a dedicated web page to prepare for PvP combat. APluscalc's Click Counter works identically — choose the 10-second timer to replicate the Kohi test.
What is butterfly clicking?
Butterfly clicking is a technique where two fingers alternate rapidly on the same mouse button, effectively doubling your click rate. It can produce 12–18 CPS. Note: butterfly clicking is banned on some game servers as it is considered an unfair advantage.
Does the click counter work on mobile?
Yes — the click zone is fully touch-compatible on mobile phones and tablets. Tap rapidly to count taps instead of mouse clicks. CPS tracking works the same way on touchscreens.
Can I pause and resume my count?
Yes. Press the Pause button to freeze your count. The timer also pauses in timed mode. Press Resume to continue exactly where you left off. Use Reset to start a brand new session.
Why does my CPS drop over time?
CPS is calculated as total clicks divided by total elapsed time. As the session gets longer, it averages out early bursts, so the displayed CPS naturally smooths toward your true sustained rate. Your Best CPS stat captures your peak speed at any point in the session.
